VIDEOTRUTHS / OUR STANDARDS
AI helps with research. Evidence decides.
AI assistance is part of a research workflow, not a substitute for verification.
How AI may be used
- Transcript analysis and identifying testable claims.
- Preliminary research and finding candidate sources.
- Organizing information and drafting clear explanations.
- Editorial review for clarity, omissions, and consistency.
What still needs checking
AI output is not automatically treated as fact. Important factual claims should be checked against reliable sources before publication. Citations must support the specific conclusion, not simply concern the same topic.
AI tools can make mistakes. Human reviewers can make mistakes. Both can misunderstand context, overlook evidence, or use outdated information.
Your independent check matters
Use the original video and source links to assess our conclusions. AI tools can assist your own research, but check their answers too. We welcome documented corrections.
