VIDEOTRUTHS / OUR STANDARDS

Privacy, in plain English.

This policy describes how VideoTruths handles information. Last updated October 8, 2026.

Hosting and basic request data

Our hosting provider may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, request times, and security logs to deliver and protect the site.

Contact and correction forms

If you submit a form, we receive the information you enter, including your email address and message. Our form provider processes those submissions. We use them to handle questions, review evidence, and communicate when needed.

We do not ask for sensitive information. Please avoid including it. We retain submissions only as needed for correspondence, editorial records, and applicable obligations. You can contact us to request access to or deletion of information you submitted; some records may need to be retained.

YouTube videos

Report thumbnails may load from YouTube/Google-operated image servers. Loading these images sends a request from your browser to those servers, even if you do not play a video.

Video players load automatically as they approach the visible part of the page, without autoplay. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com embed domain. Loading or playing a video connects your browser to YouTube and may involve technical data, storage, or cookies under its policies. Privacy-enhanced embedding does not mean no data is collected.

You may instead use the Watch on YouTube link. See Google’s privacy policy.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

The site includes no independent analytics, advertising scripts, or marketing cookies. Search and filters work in your browser without an account.

If analytics or advertising is added, this policy will be updated and appropriate notices or choices provided where required.
